PURPOSE: A skew detector and a semiconductor memory device using the same are provided to generate one detection result signal by detecting the skew between a plurality of data. CONSTITUTION: In a skew detector and a semiconductor memory device using the same, a data sensing unit(110) senses first data and end data among a plurality of data. Data is transmitted through different transmission paths. The data sensing unit outputs a sense result signal. A detection signal generation unit(120) compares the output signal of the data sensing unit with a predetermined time. The detection signal generation unit generates a skew detecting signal.
