METHOD FOR PROCESSING DATA OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY USING MEMC CHIP

PURPOSE: A method for processing data of a liquid crystal display device using an MEMC chip is provided to prevent the deterioration of image quality in a frame ratio control method by generating over driving data with a timing controller and outputs final data as first data. CONSTITUTION: Data corresponding to a half region + 4 pixel data is transmitted by sending one more clock than data enable for transmitting data corresponding to the half region of an actual driving screen with the timing controller in an MEMC chip. Data is compressed at 1 clock 4 data in each timing controller and data for ODC is generated by comparing prior frame data with current frame data. Data is successively outputted in the odd-number data line of an LTD panel. The final data becomes the first data in the even-number data line of the LTD panel and the rest data is shifted and outputted.
