PURPOSE: A network apparatus based on a content name and a method for requesting data are provided to reduce the share time of data by respectively receiving various segments among a plurality of segments included in data from a plurality of terminal devices. CONSTITUTION: A data request message is transmitted to search data consisting of a plurality of segments(S510). The segment of the data request message is received from a plurality of network devices(S520). A transmission offset is calculated by using the number of network devices which transmit segments(S530). The transmitting areas corresponding to a plurality of network devices are respectively determined(S540). The message for requesting the segments included in a plurality of the transmitting areas is transmitted to the corresponding network device(S550).
