PURPOSE: A cardo-based resin and a photo-sensitive resin composition for a color filter including the same are provided to obtain the superior taper characteristic and be applied to the color filter for electric color display devices. CONSTITUTION: A cardo-based resin includes a repeating unit represented by chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, the R1 to the R4 are identical or different and are respectively hydrogen, halogen, or substituted or non-substituted alkyl group. The R5 is substituted or non-substituted C2 to C6 alkylene group. The X1 to the X6 are identical or different and are respectively oxygen, or substituted or non-substituted amine group. The n1 is the integer of 1 to 40. The Y1 and the Y2 are identical or different or are respectively functional group represented by chemical formula 2 or 3. The A1 is selected from a group including a single bond, CO, SO_2, O, functional group, and CR103R104 and SiR105R106. The R103 to R106 are identical or different or are respectively hydrogen, fluoroalkyl group, or alkyl group.
