A composition comprises a solid polyethylene and a copolymer of ethylene and a C1 to C4 alkyl acrylate, the copolymer being present in from 20 to 80% by weight. More than one of each polymeric component may be present e.g. low and high density polyethylenes, and conventional plasticizing, stabilizing, lubricating, colouring and anti-oxidant additives may be present. Applications specified are containers, film, conduits, houseware articles, machine guards, records and coatings. |
