PURPOSE: A friction stir welding device is provided to preheat or cool a welding tool by supplying preheating air or cooling air to the welding tool. CONSTITUTION: A friction stir welding device comprises a rotary member(10), a vortex tube(50), a preheating gas feeding unit(70), and a cooling air feeding unit(90). The rotary member has a welding tool(15). The welding tool presses the joint parts of base materials and generates frictional heat. The vortex tube is connected to the rotary member and supplies preheating air or cooling air to the inside the welding tool. The preheating gas feeding unit supplies preheating gas to the vortex tube. The cooling air feeding unit supplies cooling air to the vortex tube.
