A tubular resilient seal strip 5 for sealing the junction between a slidable door and its surround is closed at its ends 15 and has a sac 11 shorter than the strip 5 attached to it either by one or more necks 10 or connected the whole length of the sac when this is less than the side of the door, to the body of the seal as shown at 14 in Fig. 6 and so arranged on the door or the surroumd that in use, the sac is compressed by the door when closed to inflate the tubular strip. The sac is disposed as at 1 la in Fig. 6 to present a surface at right angles to the seal surface of the strip, the seal surface 12 has a clearance of the door 13 until the latter is quite shut and the seal inflated.</p> |
