AUTOMATIC MACHINE FOR SORTING SPENT REFRACTORY

PURPOSE: An automatic selecting apparatus for waste refractories is provided to sort waste refractories based on the discoloration due to abrasion and collect waste refractory particles of good quality to be recycled. CONSTITUTION: An air nozzle(50) is installed behind a CCD camera and sprays compressed air only to waste refractory particles of low quality according to a signal of a controller. A container member comprises a first container(60) which accepts waste refractory particles of low quality dropped by the air spray and a second container(70) which accepts waste refractory particles of good quality that are transferred more by the travel force of a conveyor belt without interference of the air nozzle.
