LIFETIME TESTING METHOD OF A CERAMIC DISK FOR WATER VALVE

PURPOSE: A method for testing the service life of a ceramic disc for a water valve is provided to remarkably reduce testing time through an accelerated service life test in consideration of the failure mechanism of a market. CONSTITUTION: A method for testing the service life of a ceramic disc for a water valve is as follows. A ceramic disc for a test is placed in a cartridge of a jig apparatus coupled to a ceramic disc testing apparatus(S2). The jig apparatus is installed in the testing apparatus. Water is supplied to the jig apparatus(S3). It is determined whether a water leak is occurred in the jig apparatus or not(S4). When a water leak is not occurred, a cartridge lever of the jig apparatus is rotated to flow hot and cold water into the ceramic disc.
