PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a light weight photovoltaic module using thin film reinforced glass is provided to reduce installation cost by reducing the weight of the solar light module as maintaining the efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A thin film reinforced glass is provided. The thin film reinforced glass has thickness of 0.5~2.0mm, optical transmittance 85%, and Young's modulus 71.7 GPa and Shear modulus 29.7GPa. A filler sheet is placed on the thin film reinforced glass. A solar cell layout is formed on the filler sheet. Each solar cell is connected with an electrode ribbon. Lamination is performed after the filler sheet and a back sheet are covered on the solar cell layout. An aluminum frame is attached to the photovoltaic module. |
