PURPOSE: A method for preparing a catalyst for polyolefin polymerization is provided to prepare the catalyst for polyolefin polymerization with excellent effects through a relatively simple method. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a catalyst for polyolefin polymerization comprises the steps of: contacting a magnesium compound with alcohols in the presence of a non-polar solvent; contacting the reactant obtained by the contact with alcohol, with an alkyl aluminum compound; contacting the reactant obtained by the contact with the alkyl aluminum compound, with a halogenated titanium compound; and contacting the reactant obtained by the contact with a titan halide compound, with a vanadium compound.
