PURPOSE: A cellulose acetate film is provided to improve a viewing angle and contrast of a VA mode LCD panel due to high phase difference. CONSTITUTION: A cellulose acetate film comprises one or more retardation enhancer selected from the compounds of chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are independently hydrogen, (C1-C10) alkyl, (C6-C20) aryl, (C3-C20) cycloalkyl, (C2-C7) alkenyl, 5-7-membered heterocycloalkyl including one or more elements selected from N, O, and S, and (C4-C20) heteroaryl including one or more elements selected from N, O, and S.
