PURPOSE: An electric power storage apparatus for a home is provided to improve the evenness of power consumption at time slot by storing power in a time slot in which an electric fee is not expensive or surpluse power at night. CONSTITUTION: An electric power storage apparatus for a home receives AC power from a power meter and detects an overcurrent through a surge protector. The DC power stored in the battery of the electric power storage apparatus is classified by a time slot such as a power peak time and a power outage time or natural disaster generation and a fire generation time and is applied to a first circuit breaker of a distribution board. A switch is connected to a B terminal from a D terminal.
