PURPOSE: A seat height controlling device for wheelchair helping seating and standing-up and a control method are provided to offer convenience to a user for stretching knees and completely standing up. CONSTITUTION: The seat height controlling device for wheelchair helping seating and standing-up includes a base; a link module; a driving part; a first sliding member; a second sliding member; a third sliding member. The base is located in the lower of a seat(200). The link module includes a mainframe installed to slide the seat horizontally and a plurality of link members. The driving part is installed to raise the mainframe(121). The first sliding member is fixed to the base(110), and a first slot is formed into the longitudinal direction. The second sliding member is fixed to the mainframe(121), and a second slot is formed into the longitudinal direction. The third sliding member is fixed to mainframe, and a third slot is formed into the longitudinal direction.
