The device (1) has a funnel shaped upper compartment (12) in which a portable or replaceable filtration element (11) i.e. filter, is fixed. The compartment includes a fixation unit e.g. wedging link, fixed to a tank (10) in a filtration position. The compartment includes a retraction unit i.e. telescopic part, and another fixation unit e.g. watertight threaded link, fixed to the tank in another position when the compartment is empty, so that volume of a space of the device is reduced to volume lower than 2 times of usable volume of the tank when the compartment is in the latter position.
