PURPOSE: A plate type storage container is provided to produce a supporting stand of the container with a first metal material, and an external frame member of the container with a second metal material. CONSTITUTION: A plate type storage container(10) comprises the following: plural plate bodies laminated to the horizontal state inside the storage container; and a supporting stand including a lattice shaped main body(14) formed with a first metal material, and an external frame member formed with a second metal material on the lower side of the supporting stand. The first metal material is an aluminum alloy I-shaped frame material. The second metal material is a stainless steel pipe line.
