WELD-CONNECTING METHOD OF H-SECTION STEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld-connecting method of H-section steel which can reduce the amount of diaphragms and welding places while reducing manufacturing man-hours and manufacturing expenses. SOLUTION: The weld-connecting method of H-section steel applies inner diaphragms for connecting H-section steels with each other and groove-welds the H-section steel flanges and inner diaphragms of building steel constructions. More specifically, a single or several diaphragms 34 are sandwiched at the end faces of two H-section steels 3 which face each other and are groove welded 35 between the end faces of the two H-section steels 3 flange and the end faces of the diaphragms 34 to weld-connect two H-section steels. Two H-section steels which obliquely face each other at an angle can also be connected by groove welding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
