PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect whether a waterproof plug is inserted into the hole portion of a waterproof connector. SOLUTION: The waterproof connector 10 includes a holder part 30 holding the waterproof connector 10, a body 40 approachingly and separatingly movable with respect to the holder part 30, a waterproof plug detecting member 50, a press-moving member 60, and a waterproof determination unit. The waterproof plug detecting member 50 can change an attitude between a penetration attitude when a protrusion 52 penetrates into a first hole or a second hole and a retracted attitude when the protrusion 52 is retracted therefrom. The press-moving member 60 can cause the waterproof plug detecting member 50 to change its attitude from the retracted attitude to the penetration attitude, following the approaching movement of the body 40 to the holder part 30. The waterproof determination unit can determine whether the waterproof plug is inserted into the first hole or the second hole depending on the attitude of the waterproof plug detecting member 50. When the waterproof plug is not inserted, the waterproof plug detecting member 50 can change the attitude from the retracted attitude to the penetration attitude and when the waterproof plug is inserted, the attitude change is prevented by abutment of the protrusion 52 against the waterproof plug.
