PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of improving a functional recovery of functions including an autonomic nervous system, a sensory nervous system, a motor nervous system, and equivalents thereof, after an injury that a central nervous system is compressed by a traumatic brain injury or a spinal cord injury. SOLUTION: There is provided a method of administering a therapeutically effective amount of glycosaminoglycan degrading enzyme.
