PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress processing time for detecting frame timing in radio communication. SOLUTION: A first correlation calculation unit 1a calculates correlation for a first synchronization signal. A storage unit 1b selectively stores a correlation calculation result for the first synchronization signal, or a reception signal for a prescribed amount of time used for correlation calculation for a second synchronization signal. A detection unit 1c detects a plurality of pieces of timing, namely candidates of the frame timing, based on the correlation calculation result for the first synchronization signal stored in the storage unit 1b. A second correlation calculation unit 1d performs correlation calculation for the second synchronization signal based on the plurality of pieces of timing to the reception signal for the same prescribed amount of time stored in the storage unit 1b.
