PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar terminal capable of suppressing that an electric wire enters between the outer peripheral face of a terminal screw and the inner face of a terminal frame, and to provide a receptacle and switch equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The pillar terminal includes: the terminal frame 20 in which a contact terminal part 32 of a terminal member and the electric wire are inserted inside; and the terminal screw 21 in which toward the inside of the terminal frame 20, the tip part is installed to be screwed into the terminal frame 20. In the pillar terminal, a contact terminal part 32 is arranged between the tip part of the terminal screw 21 and the inner face of the terminal frame 20 opposing to the tip part, the electric wire is arranged between the tip part and the contact terminal part 32, and by screwing the terminal screw 21 into the terminal frame 20, the electric wire and the contact terminal part 32 are pinched between the terminal screw 21 and the terminal frame 20. By denting a region more inward than the tip part in the terminal frame 20 inward of the terminal frame 20, at a site opposed to the outer peripheral face of the terminal screw 21 in the inner face of the terminal frame 20, a protrusion 46 protruded toward the outer peripheral face side of the terminal screw 21 is formed.
