<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately correct blurring caused in a picked up image by a camera shake or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A division part 22 sets a target area subjected to blur correction on a picke up image resulting from imaging, a PSF estimation part 23 estimates a blur function indicating blurring caused in the target area according to the target area, and a restoration part 24 corrects blurring in the target area according to whether the estimation of the blur function by the PSF estimation part 23 is successful.
