PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet provided with excellent terminal peelability and retentivity and also simultaneously provided with excellent constant load peelability, and a water-dispersible pressure-sensitive adhesive composition used as a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet. SOLUTION: The water-dispersible pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is obtained by blending an alkali silicate with a water-dispersible polymer such that the blending ratio of the alkali silicate is 0.01-10 pts.wt based on 100 pts.wt. of the water-dispersible polymer. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet is obtained by laminating the water-dispersible pressure-sensitive adhesive composition as a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 1 on a substrate 2.
