PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for getting a gasoline fraction having high selectability of a high-octane component such as aromatic compound, naphthene, olefin and branched paraffinic hydrocarbon from a syngas in high efficiency, having high CO conversion ratio and forming little gaseous components. SOLUTION: The production method comprises a Fischer-Tropsch reaction for synthesizing hydrocarbons from a gas composed mainly of hydrogen and carbon monoxide by using a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalyst containing one or more metals developing activity to Fischer-Tropsch reaction and manganese carbonate, and a conversion reaction of the hydrocarbons obtained by the FT reaction by contacting with a zeolite exhibiting solid acid properties.
