PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory card which is capable of transmitting/receiving encrypted information with a low risk of tapping even in using an image displaying apparatus which is not provided with an image reading unit while making a dedicated user interface (UI) and dedicated firmware (FW) unnecessary. SOLUTION: The memory card 10 is connected to an image displaying apparatus having a display unit 8 and performs input/output of information. The memory card includes a storage section 16 which stores in advance a plurality of display data configured to be displayed on the display unit, a communication section 17 for transmitting/receiving information to/from other displaying apparatuses different from the image displaying apparatus, a key forming section 18 for forming key information for encrypting the information to be transmitted/received via the communication section, based on the display data, and a control section 18 for causing the key forming section to form the key information, when an operation command on certain display data stored in the storage section is given by the image displaying apparatus, based on the image data which is the object of the operation command.
