PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal fluid machine advantageous to prevent bending of an impeller while reducing weight. SOLUTION: The impeller 12 includes a main plate 18, a side plate 20 opposed to the main plate 18 and a plurality of leaves 22 arranged between these main plate 18 and side plate 20. A rotary shaft 1602 of a motor 16 is immovably and integrally rotatably connected in the axial direction to an installation hole 1804 of the main plate 18. The leaves 22 present a hollow shape, and a reinforcing rib 26 is arranged inside. The reinforcing rib 26 connects between wall parts 2202 positioned on both surfaces in the thickness T1 direction of the leaves 22, and is arranged over the total length in the height H1 direction of the leaves 22. In the reinforcing rib 26, a cross section cut by a plane orthogonal to the rotary shaft 1602, has a shape of extending along the radial direction 12A of the impeller 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
