PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a technique for producing a sintered ore which is inexpensive and environment-friendly without causing deterioration in effective utilization of waste and the quality of sintered ore. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the sintered ore, upon the production of a sintered ore, as a carbonaceous material mixed into a sintering raw material, using a sewage sludge origin carbide obtained by carbonizing sewage sludge as the material in an amount equivalent to≤12 mass% of the blending amount of powder coke, a sintering operation is performed.
