PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust from being stuck due to moisture and solidified in a booster of an evacuation apparatus in a vacuum degassing facility. SOLUTION: There is provided a method for preventing the sticking of the dust on the booster 13 of the evacuation equipment, wherein the exhausting gas is exhausted from a vacuum vessel 1 in the vacuum degassing facility for molten steel to perform evacuation. The dust is removed by washing with the high pressure water in the booster 13, and successively, the exhaust heat of the vacuum vessel 1 heat-holding during waiting before the vacuum degassing treatment, is drawn in the inner part of the booster 13, and the dust is prevented from being stuck and solidified on the surface on the booster by starting the vacuum-degassing treatment after drying the inner part of the booster.
