PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device enabling the cleaning of both surfaces of a fishing net, having a function of peeling off attached materials in a stage that the attaching materials such as Hydrozoa and algae stay on the surface of the fishing net at the side surfaces of the fishing net extended/laid in the sea and deformed along a tidal flow, and without damaging the fishing net itself during the cleaning. SOLUTION: At the body of the cleaning device, a cleaning tool 14 and a contact-driving device 12 are installed, and they peel off the attached materials at the both surfaces of the fishing net 1 by perpendicularly moving the cleaning tool 14 in a state of making a contact with the fishing net 1 by the water flow generated by the contact-driving device 12. The cleaning device body performs the perpendicular movement by a winding device 10 equipped at a floating body 9 on water surface. The floating body 9 is hanged on horizontally moving wire rope 5 circling around the fishing net 1 and the cleaning is performed on the both surfaces of the fishing net 1 over and around its circumference with the horizontal movement of the floating body 9 and cleaning device body by the horizontally moving device 23 constructed on a fishing net-supporting structural body 3.
