USE OF SECERNIN-1, PROGNOSIS PREDICTION METHOD OF SYNOVIAL SARCOMA, AND EXAMINING REAGENT KIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of easily and accurately predicting prognosis of synovial sarcoma. SOLUTION: Secernin-1 is used as a biomarker for predicting the prognosis of synovial sarcoma. An expression amount of secernin-1 is measured, and the prognosis for the synovial sarcoma is predicted to be proper when the expression amount of secernin-1 has increased. The expression amount of secernin-1 is measured by an immunological method using an antibody specific to secernin-1 such as Western blot method. The prognosis is not limited for surgical operation but applied for chemotherapy, radiotherapy, thermotherapy, immunotherapy, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
