PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bow pad for producing great wave-making resistance reducing effects both during heavy-load operation and during light-load operation while producing promising great wave-making resistance reducing effects even during further increasing a speed. SOLUTION: The blow pad 6 for a wave-making resistance reducing device is protruded frontward from a bow bulb to encircle a hull 1 and the bow bulb 3. It includes a bow pad having an upper edge in a relatively lower region than a full load draft line LWL, and a bow pad having an upper edge right under the full load draft line and shaped to ride on the bow pad, the bow pad having an angular shape formed into a curved shape to increase the capacity. Thus, great wave-making resistance reducing effects are produced in a high speed region. Additionally, the upper edge of the bow pad is protruded above the full load draft line and the front edge thereof is protruded to the front end to further increase the capacity.
