A LED illumination device with honeycomb type heat dissipating structure comprises a heat dissipating body (100) and an illumination unit (200). The heat dissipating body (100) has a bottom surface (110), a top surface (120) around the bottom surface (110), and a plurality of tubular honeycomb units (130) extended from the bottom surface (110) to the top surface (120). Each honeycomb unit (130) is composed of six unit walls (131) with substantially equal length, and each unit wall (131) is attached to the unit walls (131) of other honeycomb units (130). A first mounting portion (140) in the middle of the bottom surface (110) and a second mounting portion (150) around the first mounting portion (140) are formed in the bottom surface (110) of the heat dissipating body (100), and any end of the honeycomb unit (130) above the first mounting portion (140) and the second mounting portion (150) is enclosed. The illumination unit (200) comprises a group of internal illuminating lamps (210) disposed on the first mounting portion (140) and a group of external illuminating lamps (220) disposed on the second mounting portion (150).
