A device for stripping a cathode plate includes a support frame and a stripping assembly. The said stripping assembly is mounted on the support frame, and it includes: clipping mechanisms, the said clipping mechanisms are arranged at the upper part of the support frame and separated from each other longitudinally; a stripping mechanism for stripping the deposited metal sheets from two sides of the cathode plate; a bottom location mechanism for locating the bottom end of the cathode plate; a loosening mechanism which is arranged at the bilateral of the support frame and has a pusher bar, wherein the said push bar can move along the transverse direction and it is mounted on the support frame to tip the cathode plate; and a plate-receiving mechanism including at least one receiving platform which can move vertically for receiving the deposited metal sheet.
