Disclosed herein are specific indolinone derivatives as depicted by compounds of the given formula, wherein the substituents are as defined within the specification. Also disclosed are improved processes for the manufacture of said compounds, which are useful as intermediates in the synthesis of drug substances useful in treating oncological or non-oncological diseases.
