Disclosed herein Is a N-(hetero) aryl indole of general formula (Ia) wherein the substituents are as defined in the specification, pharmaceutical compositions comprising said compounds, and methods for their preparation. Said compounds are useful in controlling parasites on warm-blooded animals excluding humans, as well as the control of parasites on plants.
