PURPOSE: A camera signal processing chip and an image quality improving method are provided to display an image quality-improved image in case a portable terminal uses a multimedia function. CONSTITUTION: A signal converter(12) converts the display device output signal of a back-end chip(30) into the formation of a sensor signal. According to an image enhancement function, an image signal processor(14) processes the converted display device output signal. According to a camera function, the image signal processor processes the sensor signal. A display device controller(16) converts the display device output signal into a data signal. The display device controller creates a display device control signal.
