<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control system and a vehicle control method which can sufficiently achieve acceleration based on sensitivity of a driver by determining an optimum request value to an amount of accelerator operation of the driver. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle control system includes an acceleration generation device (an engine, a T/M (transmission)) generating acceleration on a vehicle, and a vehicle control device controlling the acceleration generation device based on an accelerator opening Pa in response to operation of the accelerator by the driver and based on a vehicle speed v of the vehicle. The vehicle control device controls the acceleration generation device based on requested acceleration Gx determined based on relationship between the accelerator opening Pa and the requested acceleration Gx under a condition of accelerator acceleration in a certain time determined by relationship between a speed and acceleration in a certain accelerator opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
