摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device for preventing complication of a manufacturing process and reducing parasitic capacitance between a pixel electrode and a reference electrode and a data line.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a dual protective film disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The dual protective film includes a first protective film and a second protective film. The refractive index of the first protective film is different from that of the second protective film. The nitrogen content of the first protective film is different from that of the second protective film.
