摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for expansion and sighting of structural elements in a space environment. <P>SOLUTION: The device for expansion and sighting of the structural elements that are designed to be placed on the earth orbit includes at least one locking/unlocking device to actuate and stop a first coupling mode, and actuate a second coupling mode to achieve sighting to a target at a device part. The device uses a plurality of structural elements joined with each other by a joint to form a joined arm of which assembly is connected to a payload through a root part, in which two continuous structural elements are enabled to rotate to each other by means of the joint including at least one rotational connection part, a motor to achieve actuation of rotational connection for at least on joint, and a system for coupling of the joint to achieve rotation of the whole structural elements including the first coupling mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
