<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm only hardware functions of an input and output system of a landing call button without calling an elevator to an inspection floor. <P>SOLUTION: The landing call button inspection device of the elevator includes the landing call button 3 installed on each floor landing, a landing call button registration lamp 4, a landing call registering device 2 for registering landing call when the landing call button 3 is operated, a landing call button registration lamp control device 7a for controlling lighting of the landing call button registration lamp 4, a car control device 7b for controlling a car to stop on a landing floor on which landing call is registered, and a landing call button inspection mode for invalidating or forbidding registration of landing call to the landing call registering device 2 and inspecting operation of the landing call button 3.
