PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder that readily holds a plurality of energy storage elements. SOLUTION: The holder (20) is for holding each of the plurality of energy storage elements (10), and the holder includes a plurality of first holding plates (212) with an opening (212a) for penetrating the energy storage elements; and a second holding plate (221), that is disposed between the plurality of first holding plates with the opening (221a) for penetrating the energy storage elements. The openings of the first and second holding plates hold each of the energy storage elements, in a state where the plates presses against energy storage element from mutually facing directions.
