PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount easily on a pipe, and to shield surely a radioactive shield material. SOLUTION: A first coating member and a second coating member have a semicylindrical radiation shielding 11, a cushioning material 12 mounted on the inner circumferential surface of the radiation shielding 11, and a cover member 13 for covering the outer circumferential surface of the radiation shielding 11. Each detachable handle 40 is mounted on the first coating member and the second coating member, respectively. The first coating member 10 and the second coating member 20 coat a pipe A through which a radioactive material flows from each opposite side mutually. The first coating member 10 and the second coating member 20 are connected together with a snap lock 30, and the pipe A is surrounded in the circumferential direction by this shielding device 100.
