PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously monitor use history even when reading/writing from/to a recording medium becomes impossible due to breakages etc. of the recording medium, such as an RFID tag, attached to a structural unit, such as a component. SOLUTION: The control section 11 reads information stored in an RFID tag 70 by reader/writer sections 60 and 330 when units U1 to Un or a second fixing unit Ua are mounted. The control section 11 determines whether the information read corresponds to predetermined error conditions. When it does not correspond to the error conditions, the control section 11 updates history information stored in a nonvolatile memory 12 to the history information read by the reader/writer sections 60 and 330. Meanwhile, when it corresponds to the error conditions, the control section 11 controls the reader/writer sections 60 and 330 to write the history information stored in the nonvolatile memory 12 on the RFID tag 70.
