PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer pipe for boiling with a heat transfer face shape, which promotes nucleate boiling without inhibiting inflow of refrigerant liquid to a cavity part and improves heat transfer performance, and to provide a method for manufacturing the heat transfer pipe for boiling. SOLUTION: The heat transfer pipe 1 for boiling includes: a pipe body 10 having an annular cross section; and fin parts 14 formed on the outer surface 13 of the pipe body 10 spirally or annularly and arranged in the axial direction of the pipe body 10 at predetermined intervals. The fin part 14 includes: a fin body 20 extended from the outer surface 13 of the pipe body 10 to the outer side in the radial direction; an extension part 21 extended from the tip in the radial direction of the fin body 20 to one side in the axial direction, forming a first air gap 31 with the adjacent fin body 20 on one side in the axial direction and forming the cavity part 30 with the outer surface 13 and the two adjacent fin bodies 20; and an auxiliary fin extended from the center in the radial direction of the fin body 20 to the other side in the axial direction within the cavity part 30 and forming a second air gap 32 with the adjacent fin body 20 on the other side in the axial direction.
