PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepared surface material which simplifies a work for kneading aggregate with a resin material as an adhesive agent and suppresses a large difference produced in the finish of a constructed surface depending on the skill of a worker, when performing the surface finish by covering the base with a surface material regardless of the size of the scale. SOLUTION: The prepared surface material 1 includes an aggregate 2 comprising at least one kind of solid substance, a resin-based adhesive agent 3 which is dispersible in water, and causes resin to be irreversibly cured through the vaporization of water, water 4 for adjusting viscosity, and a packaging container 5 accommodating a mixture of the aggregate 2, the resin-based adhesive agent 3 and water 4 in a sealed state. The water 4 in the mixture constitutes part of a necessary water amount in use for preparation, and when the packaging container 5 is opened, the residual amount of the necessary water amount in use is added to the mixture to reduce its viscosity for use.
