PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently align sheets on a tray regardless of the number of sheets. SOLUTION: A sheet processing device includes: a pair of alignment members 51, 52 that abut on and separate from the opposite edges of the sheets for alignment; and a regulation member that is provided to at least one of the alignment members 51, 52, and moves in a direction approaching the upper surface of sheets according to abutting operation of the pair of alignment members to the sheet edges for restricting the sheets.
