PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semipermeable membrane having a practical water permeability amount, a salt rejection and also a high durability, and a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: A semipermeable membrane having a separation function layer including a primary amino group is reformed by being brought into contact with a reagent, which generates a diazonium salt or its derivative when reacting with a primary amino group, for the period of one second or longer and 60 minutes or shorter.
