Provided is a circuit module which uses a multilayer substrate having a built-in capacitor, which can independently adjust the capacitance value of a specific capacitance without changing the value of another capacitance and the coupling state with another circuit element. A circuit module (10) is configured from a multilayer substrate (20) having a built-in capacitor, and a group of external mounting components (11) mounted on the surface of the multilayer substrate (20) having a built-in capacitor. An auxiliary electrode (33) is formed on the surface of dielectric layer (26), and is electrically connected to capacitor electrode (32) by means of a via electrode (37) which penetrates dielectric layer (26). Capacitor electrode (34) is formed on the surface of dielectric layer (28) so as to oppose capacitor electrode (32) and the auxiliary electrode (33) connected thereto. The auxiliary electrode (33) is formed within a region in which capacitor electrode (32) and capacitor electrode (34) overlap, when viewing in the lamination direction, and a capacitance (C31) is formed on the region indicated by the thick slanted lines in figure 1. |
