The present invention relates to a polypropylene composition comprising a propylene homopolymer having improved optical properties, in particular, a haze and to use of polypropylene composition for forming polymer articles. The polypropylene composition comprises at least one propylene homopolymer component and a polymeric nucleating agent in an amount at least 45 ppm. The mixture of A) and B) has a MFRfrom1 to 50 g/10 min. The haze satisfies the following relation: Haze (%) < 105.7- N+ 13.6 MFR- 1.78 MFR- 31.7, with N = amount of polymeric nucleating agent in the propylene homopolymer in ppm (weight); MFR= MFRof the mixture of A) and B). |
