LAMINATE HAVING METALLIC LUSTER FEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate having deep appearance and metallic luster feeling excellent in design performance. SOLUTION: The laminate has a surface material at least at one side of a substrate formed of a colored thermoplastic resin. (1) The surface material is composed of a polycarbonate resin composition comprising a polycarbonate resin and a metallic pigment as essential components. (2) When the surface of the laminated surface material of the laminate is measured by a microscope, particles of the metallic pigment of particle sizes of 0.01-0.2 mm are present in the surface material at a rate of 20-30 particles per 100 mm2. (3) The laminate has such a metallic luster feeling that the light transmittance of the polycarbonate resin composition used in the surface material, measured by a specimen of a 1-mm thickness by ASTM D-1003 is 3-50%. As a result, the laminate having the metallic luster feeling as the deep appearance with the metallic luster feeling and excellent in design performance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
